People giving presentations tonight. Not me, however. Should be pretty laid back on my part. I need to have my paper and presentation for next week.Small crowd tonight. Most of the people who aren’t presenting didn’t show up.
This professor has some odd habits. She doesn’t want to use bad language in front of us, but she does want to emphasize things succinctly, so she’ll mime her cursing. Literally, she’ll mouth rude words but not voice them. It’s like a rap CD from Wal-Mart. “Oh, ____.”
The real question, in my mind is whether she normally thinks with mildly rude language and censors herself, or if she’s intentionally inserting the language to impress us. Doesn’t matter either way, I suppose, it’s just interesting.
