Business Writing, March 27 2008
Got my paper that’s due today done. I don’t think it’s a work of art, but it shouldn’t make me fail, either. Still have to get my group project for DSCI done, but a guy who’s in both this class and the DSCI class has offered to throw me some help there. Should be doable.
Forgot to bring my chart or graph to class. Nothing to do about it now. (more…)

Starting up in here again. Talking about some budgeting in the news. Apparently Dallas is having to turn off some of its red-light cameras, because they’re working too well. They’re deterring drivers from running red lights, which has cut ticket revenue so low that it doesn’t cover the operation of the cameras. Getting started up again after spring break. Class is twenty minutes late starting up. Dr. Wolff’s wife is having some sort of surgery tomorrow, so there’s some chance he won’t be available Wednesday.
Also, April 1st (Tuesday) there will be a meeting of the Society for Human Resource Management, if I wanted to show up and join. (more…)
