Finite Math, Day 1

Instructor Tracy Samuel. Young looking professor, not that I’m a good judge of age. Overheard one student saying nice things about her teaching in a previous class, though. That’s encouraging.

Turn in assignments written in pencil. Need some graph paper. Homework needs to be stapled before class.

Homework is collected for completion, but almost all assigned problems are the odd problems, which have the answers in the back of the book. Homework is due at ends of sections/chapters. Homework due the day after the exam for that section. Wuizzes will happen at intervals. May or may not be pre-announced.

Five exams, plus final exam. Standard exams are worth 14%, final is worth 20%. Homework and quizzes are worth 10%.  These stats may change; professor reserves the right to drop or substitute exam grades.  Most exams are completion based.  Final plus one or two others may be multiple choice.
