Showed up right on time.  Things had already started up in here.  White doesn’t believe in delaying, apparently. Just as well.Talking about cross-cultural sensitivity this class.

Four functions of Managers:

  1. Planning
  2. Organizing
  3. Leading
  4. Controlling

Lots of businesses treat diversity as a political correctness issue.  I.E., “We Value Diversity her at X”.  Diversity has real value, though.  Research suggests that, after acclimitization time, diverse groups outperform homogeneous groups.

Rotary Four-Way Test of what we Think, Say, and Do

  1. Is it the Truth?
  2. Is it Fair to all concerned?
  3. Will it build Goodwill and better relationships?
  4. Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?
