Talking about text boxes today.  Program due soon.  Already did my homework for tomorrow. The upcoming program assignment is pretty straightforward.  Building a basic calculator.  Right now I’m contemplating the nuances.  I’m trying to decide between writing a single function to handle all the mathematical operations, and just have the button presses be glorified calls with parameters, or whether to have individual handling for each button.  A single function would definitely be more elegant, and probably require less work.  Have to look up a few things to make it work right, though.  That’s probably the way I’ll go.

This write-a-function-and-pass-it-parameters seems very much like a procedural programming strategy, though.  Seems like there ought to be a more object-oriented way of handling things.

I’m always very sleepy in this class.  Now sure whether it’s me or the class, but I suspect the class.  Doesn’t seem to be related to how much rest I’ve had prior.

I’m leaving early, at the break.  I’m not gaining anything by staying.
