Still dealing with Linear Programming. Updated WordPress to the most current version this afternoon. Hopefully that will make it respond a bit snappier. At the very least, I think it auto-saves posts in progress now. That’s handy.

Dealing with Excel today. Using the Excel solver to handle linear programming issues. Need to play with this on my own time, make sure I have it down.

Minimization problem are like maximization problems, except you’re trying to find the smallest value.

A number of problems or concerns can arise when dealing with LP problems.

  • Infeasibility
  • Unbounded Solutions
  • Redundancy
  • Multiple Optimal Solutions
